Her Holiness Sree mata amrithanantha mayi devi is supposed to be the incarnation of sree parvathy devi in modern time. Amma was born in an Araya family in coastal village of Parayakadavu.near Vallickavu of Kollam district of kerala on 27 th September 1953.
SREE KANNAKI DEVI
KING PERUMBIDUGU MUTHARAYAN ll.

One of the famous kings of south India who ruled his kingdom with Thanjavoor as capital city.
There is a reference to Perimbidugu Mutharayan ll who attended the coronation of Nandi Varman Pallava Malla. One of the titles of Mutharayar was Lord of Thanjavoor. The Mutharayrs were known to build some famous siva temples in and around Thanjavoor. They were also known as the first builders of forts in Thanjavoor. The city name "Thanjaur" seems to be derived from the name of a Mutharayar king "Thananjay" or" Dhananjaya". "Thananjay arayar is one of the surnames of Mutharayar clans as per the research paper published by Chola-Mutharayar research centre, Thanjavoor. The original name "Thananjaya ur " might have gradually modified to "Thanjavoor".



THIRAISAR MADANTHA.​
Thiraisar madantha is supposed to be the incarnation of Sree Parvathy Devi after Kannaki. She was born as a daughter of Araya chief Thrayambakan Adi Arayan in Pandya kindom.



Kannaki was born as the daughter of Araya chief Manaikkan in the Kaveryppattanam of ancient Chola kingdom. She was wonderfully gifted with beauty and loftiness of character. She is supposed to be the incarnation of Sree Parvathy Devi.
CHEMPIL ANANTHA PADMANABHAN VALIYA ARAYAN KANKUMARAN (ADMIRAL OF TRAVANCORE).
Chempil Arayan who lost his life on December 29 1808 can be credited as the a first freedom fighter of Travancore.
Traditionally the naval armies of both travancore and cochin were headed and manned by Arayans. While they along with the muslim Marikkars formed the naval forces in Malabar. The Arayans of Travancore under Velu Thambi Dalawa and Chempil Arayan rebelled against the British in 1808, which was the first rebellion against the British in Kerala. Chempil Arayan was the Admiral of the fleet in the service of Avittam Thirunal Bala Rama Varma, king of Travancore. Chempil Arayan started one of the earliest uprising against British Colonialism in India during the days of the British East India Company in 1808. Among other things he led an attack on Bolgatty Palace, the residence of the then company resident, Colin Macaulay. The president escaped narrowly with his life. eluding the attackers through an under ground tunnel and fleeing in a small boat. The Arayan was later captured and freed after the payment of ransom. He died in battle of against the forces of the company.
DR. VELUKKUTTY ARAYAN
Dr. velukkutty Arayan is a multifarious genius who marked his foot prints in the history of kerala. He was a social reformer, scholar, editor, litterateur, scientist and physician who practiced all branches of medicine. On completion of his primary education, Velukkutty Arayan continued his education in ayurvedic system of medicine. Before attaining the age of 18 years he secured deep knowledge in Ayurveda, Sanskrit, and in English. Thereafter, he continued studies in allopathic system of medicine at Madras. After obtaining degree in alopathic medicine, he underwent studies in homoeopathic medicine at homeopathic medical college at Calcutta and graduated with first rank. He founded several social organizations and trade unions. He was a front line activist in independence movement also. He was one of the leaders of "Vaikom Sathyagraha". Dr. Arayan passed away on 31 st may 1969.
SREE MUTHARASA CHERY TEMPLE, Adinadu, Karunagappally, Kollam District, Kerala.

This temple was established by Adicha Mutharasan during the time of migration of Araya community from Chengannur to Alappadu, near Karunagappally. This temple runs under the administration of Araya Vamsa Paripalana Yogam(A.V.P.Y) Cheriazheeckal, Karunagappally. The descendants of Adicha Mutharasan family is now known as "Karukayil""family near Alappadu Sree Subrahmanya Swamy temple.This temple was the property of this family and it runs now under the administration of S,S,V. Karayogam Alappadu.

The descendants of Adicha Mutharasan live here. This is an old house with court yard. It is believed that the main part of this house(Wooden granary) is brought from the "Panankavil Palace" which "Thiraisar madantha" was born and brought up.
